News and Announcements

Influenza-type illnesses

We have noticed an increase in the number of influenza-type illnesses in our schools, which is to be expected at this time of year. Cleaning protocols have been adjusted in all buildings in response to this increase. In addition, frequent handwashing and proper cough/sneeze etiquette are regularly reinforced with our students and staff.

In order to help prevent the spread of illness in the school setting, we request that you keep your child home if he/she exhibits the following: has a fever (of 100+) or signs of illness such as significant congestion, sneezing, coughing, or experiences symptoms of fatigue or discomfort. Please do not give fever reducers and send them to school. Please also consider keeping them home with a lower grade fever (99 degrees) with concurrent symptoms. An additional note to use caution in sending your child back to school before they are ready or with a low-grade fever as they may also be more susceptible to picking up a secondary infection.

Lunchroom News

Parents, you might have noticed an automatic email sent from our Mealtime program lately. Those emails are generated when your student has a negative balance on their Mealtime account. Once your student's account reaches a negative balance over $1.00, an account statement will be sent home in addition to the daily email. We appreciate your prompt payment of your child's lunch account! Thank you.
