Dear Parents, Guardians, Students, and Staff,
Governor Pritzker took statewide action today and announced that the suspension of in-person instruction for students would continue through the end of the year. Even though our school buildings will remain closed, our E-Learning program will continue until further notice. Our teachers and staff will focus on continuity in learning. They will remain available from 8:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. each day to help provide ongoing guidance, instruction, and support for our students and families. Additionally, our Food Service will continue delivering meals on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday.
We understand that there are several questions that you may have given this extended school closure period. In the coming days we will provide answers to the most frequent questions, including those questions dealing with:
Last day of school
Your child’s belongings
End of the year traditions
Summer programs and activities
Next school year
There are sure to be more questions, and we remain committed to providing further updates through our posting to the District website (https://www.sd925.org/), School Messenger, and the District 92.5 Facebook page. As a reminder, Monday, April 20th is a planning day for staff. There will not be E-Learning classes for students. If you have any questions or concerns, feel free to reach out to me via email (firstname.lastname@example.org) or call 708-670-1927.
