Keyboarding Without Tears

School District 92.5 has purchased a web-based keyboarding curriculum for all students in Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade to use at school and at home entitled Keyboarding Without Tears. Your child has already been utilizing the program at school, but if you have a computer and the Internet at home, we would love for them to continue using it there as well. You can also check out a computer at your local library if you don't have a computer at home. This curriculum teaches students computer mouse skills, typing skills, general computer readiness, and online test prep. Click Keyboarding without Tears Parent Letter Website.pdf to find instructions on how to access the program at home. Each student has been given a Secret Code to login to their account. If they do not remember it, please email Mrs. Thomas at cthomas@sd925.org so she can send it to you.

Parents this is the season where head lice can appear. Please speak to your children about not sharing hats, coats, brushes and combs. Also, regularly check your child’s hair for either lice eggs or live lice. While head lice itself does not pose a health risk, we want to make sure our students have a positive learning environment.
